Why Does WooCommerce My Account Show Limited Orders?

Why This Is Just WooCommerce Pagination

Showing every single order a long-time customer has ever placed on one page would make My Account slow to load and unwieldy to browse, so WooCommerce paginates the list by default, similar to how a blog or product catalog paginates rather than showing unlimited items on one page. The orders aren't hidden or lost — they're simply organized across multiple pages.

Things Worth Knowing

  • The number of orders shown per page is filterable via the woocommerce_my_account_my_orders_query filter, if a store wants to adjust the default page size for its own reasons.
  • Pagination controls should appear at the bottom of the order list, letting the customer navigate to older orders — if these controls are missing or broken, that's a genuine display bug worth investigating separately from the expected pagination behavior itself.
  • A theme or page builder override of the My Account order history template could accidentally break pagination display while still correctly limiting the query, which would look like orders are simply missing rather than just on another page.
  • Guest orders never appear in My Account at all, regardless of pagination, since they aren't tied to any logged-in account — a separate consideration from pagination limits for a registered customer.

If Pagination Controls Are Missing

  1. Confirm the customer actually has more orders than the default page size before assuming anything is broken.
  2. Check that pagination controls display correctly at the bottom of the order history section.
  3. If controls are missing, check for a theme override of the My Account order history template that might have dropped them.

Checking whether anything is actually wrong

  1. Count against a test account. Log in as a customer, or use a test account with enough orders, and look for next and previous links under the list. A customer with fewer orders than the page size sees them all on one page.
  2. Check which account the order belongs to. Orders placed as a guest, or under a different email address, never appear in a customer's account even though they exist in the admin.
  3. Remember how guest orders link up. WooCommerce attaches earlier guest orders to a new account when it is created with the same email address, so a customer who registered later usually sees their older orders after all.
  4. Check for a template override. A theme or page builder that replaces the orders template can drop the pagination controls while still limiting the list.

Changing the page size

If you need a different number of orders per page, adjust it through the woocommerce_my_account_my_orders_query filter rather than editing the template, so the change survives theme and WooCommerce updates.
