WordPress development, and the services around it.

WordPress is the core of what I do — custom themes, WooCommerce storefronts, speed work and site rescues for businesses across the UK, Germany, the US and beyond. Eleven years of it, with four years leading React front ends for a product team behind the engineering. SEO, Webflow and frontend work sit alongside for the projects that call for them.

WHAT I DO

Four ways I can help

Most clients start with WordPress, and that is where most of my eleven years have gone. The right platform still depends on who maintains the site and what it has to do — and because I build on all of them, the recommendation you get is not shaped by what I happen to sell.

WordPress Development

I build and rebuild WordPress websites for service businesses, agencies and growing brands — sites that load quickly, get found in search, and can be updated by the people who own them without a developer on standby.

  • Custom WordPress theme development, built to your design rather than bent out of a bought template
  • WooCommerce storefronts — product structure, variations, checkout and payment configuration
  • SEO-focused landing pages and service pages built to convert, not just to exist

SEO

Technical and on-page SEO for businesses tired of paying for content nobody finds. I fix the foundations first — crawlability, structure, speed, schema — then make each page earn a ranking for something specific.

  • Full technical SEO audit — crawlability, indexation, redirects, canonicals and duplicate content
  • Core Web Vitals and page speed work (LCP, INP, CLS), measured before and after rather than asserted
  • Site architecture and internal linking — a structure Google can follow and visitors can navigate

Webflow Development

Clean, conversion-focused Webflow builds with a CMS your marketing team can actually run — no plugins to update, no server to patch, no developer standing between you and publishing a page.

  • Figma to Webflow builds, matched to the design rather than approximated
  • CMS architecture — collections, references and dynamic pages designed around how your team publishes
  • Reusable components and a documented class system that survives future edits
Learn more

Frontend Development

Interfaces built to the design, fast on real devices, accessible by default and readable by whoever maintains them next — from a single Figma file to a full component library.

  • Pixel-accurate implementation of Figma designs, responsive from 320 pixels upward
  • React and Next.js interfaces — components, state, routing and data fetching
  • Vue and Nuxt.js applications, including server-side rendering and SEO handling

CHOOSING

Which one is right for you?

A short version of the conversation I have with almost every client. Find the row that sounds like you.

Choose WordPress

  • You need real ecommerce or deep third-party integrations
  • You have a growing content operation
  • You want full control over hosting and your data

The most capable of the three — and the maintenance that comes with it is what a retainer covers.

Choose Webflow

  • You want design precision without a developer in the loop
  • Your marketing team needs to publish on its own
  • You have no server you want to own

Less flexible at the edges than WordPress, and almost nothing to maintain.

Choose a custom frontend

  • The site is really an application
  • It is part of a product with its own API and design system
  • It has to fit a codebase you already run

React or Nuxt, built to match what your team already maintains.

SEO is not an either/or

It is not an alternative to the three above — it is what makes whichever you pick actually pay off. Worth scoping separately when:

  • An existing site is not being found
  • A redesign risks the rankings you already have
  • You want the technical foundations right before spending anything on content

Still unsure? Describe what the site has to do and who will maintain it, and I will tell you which of these fits — including when the answer is that you do not need me at all.

HOW IT RUNS

The same process either way

WordPress, Webflow or a custom front end — the stages do not change. Only the tooling does.

  1. Discovery and a fixed quote

What the site has to achieve, who it is for, what is failing now. You get a written scope and a fixed price before anything starts.

  2. Structure before design

Page architecture, URLs, heading hierarchy and keyword targets first. Skipping this is the most common reason a good-looking site never ranks.

  3. Build

Mobile-first, accurate to the design, tested at real widths on real devices rather than in a builder preview.

  4. Performance, SEO and accessibility

A dedicated stage with its own checklist — Core Web Vitals, structured data, image compression, keyboard navigation, contrast.

  5. Launch and handover

Redirect mapping so existing rankings survive, Search Console and analytics setup, and a recorded walkthrough so your team can run it.
