What is a realistic PageSpeed score for a WordPress site?
It depends on the site, but a well-optimized WordPress site with images and content can reasonably reach the high 80s to high 90s on mobile. I will tell you honestly what is achievable for your specific setup rather than promising 100 across the board.
Will you need access to my hosting?
For a full optimization, yes, since caching and server-level configuration matter as much as the WordPress side. If hosting access is not possible, I can still do the on-site work and tell you what hosting is holding back.
Do you guarantee a specific score?
No, and I would not trust anyone who does, since scores vary by test conditions. What I do guarantee is a measurable improvement against your baseline, with the report to show it.
Can an Elementor or Divi site actually be fast?
Yes, with the right configuration, though it takes more careful work than a lightweight custom theme. I have optimized both, and will tell you upfront if the builder itself is the ceiling on how fast the site can get.
How long does optimization take?
A typical site takes a few days from audit to final report. Sites with deeper database or hosting issues can take longer, and I will scope that honestly after the initial audit.
Is this a one-time fix or does it need to be ongoing?
The initial fix is one-time, but performance drifts as plugins update and content gets added. Some clients bring me back periodically or add it to an ongoing maintenance arrangement.
