Webflow development for brands that want polish without the maintenance.

Clean, conversion-focused Webflow builds with a CMS your marketing team can actually run — no plugins to update, no server to patch, no developer standing between you and publishing a page.

THE PROBLEM

What I actually get called in to fix

Webflow suits a specific kind of company well: one that cares how the site looks, wants to publish without a deploy pipeline, and would rather not own a server. What it does not do is design the site or structure the content for you. A Webflow build that was dragged together without a plan becomes just as unmaintainable as a bloated WordPress install — only with a class list nobody can untangle. I build them the other way round: structure first, then design, with a class system that still makes sense a year later.

Publishing a page takes a week

If a new landing page needs a developer, a code review and a deploy, marketing stops asking for landing pages. Webflow removes that queue entirely — but only if the CMS collections and components were designed for the way your team actually publishes.

The design got lost in the build

Handed to someone who does not sweat detail, a considered design comes back with the spacing approximated and the type scale invented. I build to the Figma file precisely, because the details are what made the design worth paying for.

The Webflow project is an unmaintainable mess

Hundreds of one-off classes, no naming convention, styles that cannot be changed without breaking three other pages. This is the most common reason people hand me an existing Webflow site. It is fixable, and it is avoidable from the start.

It looks great and converts badly

A beautiful site with no argument in it does not sell. Structure, hierarchy and calls to action have to be deliberate. Looking premium is necessary and nowhere near sufficient.

SCOPE

What I deliver

  • Figma to Webflow builds, matched to the design rather than approximated
  • CMS architecture — collections, references and dynamic pages designed around how your team publishes
  • Reusable components and a documented class system that survives future edits
  • Webflow Ecommerce setup for straightforward product catalogues
  • Custom interactions and scroll animation, kept within a performance budget
  • WordPress to Webflow migrations with redirects that preserve existing rankings
  • On-page SEO setup: meta fields, Open Graph, structured data, sitemap and canonical handling
  • Team training so your marketers publish confidently without breaking layouts

PROCESS

How a project runs

  1. Scope and content model

Before anything is drawn or dragged, we work out what content types exist, how they relate, and which pages are dynamic. Getting the CMS model right at this stage is what prevents an expensive restructure later.

  2. Style system

Typography scale, colour variables, spacing system and a class naming convention, all set up before page building starts. This is what stops the project turning into hundreds of unmanageable one-off classes.

  3. Build

Pages and components built to the design, responsive across every breakpoint, with real CMS content flowing through rather than placeholder text that hides layout problems.

  4. Interactions and performance

Motion added deliberately and kept inside a performance budget, with reduced-motion preferences respected. Images sized and compressed properly rather than uploaded at full resolution.

  5. SEO, launch and training

Meta fields, Open Graph, structured data, redirect mapping and Search Console setup, then a walkthrough so your team can publish on day one without supervision.

BENEFITS

What you get out of it

Publishing without a queue

Your marketing team ships pages the same day they write them. No deploy, no ticket, no developer in the loop for routine content.

Nothing to maintain

No plugin updates, no security patches, no server. Hosting, CDN and SSL are handled, which removes an entire category of ongoing cost and risk.

A project that stays workable

A documented class system and real components mean the site can be extended in a year without anyone needing to start over.

What clients say

Every completed Upwork contract to date, each rated 5.0. The work behind them was WordPress — my Webflow references are available on request — but the way a project runs is the same whichever platform it is on.

FAQ

Questions I get asked

What people ask before starting a Webflow build, answered up front rather than in the first call.

Is Webflow better than WordPress?

Neither is better in the abstract — they suit different situations. Webflow wins when you want design precision, fast publishing and zero maintenance, and you are content within its feature set. WordPress wins when you need complex ecommerce, deep third-party integrations, or a very large content operation. I build both, so I have no incentive to push you toward one. Tell me the constraints and I will give you a straight recommendation.

Can you migrate my WordPress site to Webflow?

Yes. The critical part is the redirect mapping — a migration done without it throws away the search rankings you have already paid for, which is a genuinely expensive mistake. I map every existing URL to its new destination before launch and verify it afterwards in Search Console.

Can I edit the site myself after launch?

Yes, and that is usually the reason people choose Webflow. The Editor lets your team change content without touching design, and every project ends with a training walkthrough. Layouts are built so they hold regardless of how much or how little content gets entered.

Do you build from a Figma design or design it yourself?

Either. If you have a designer, I build to their file precisely and will flag anything that will not hold up responsively before I build it rather than after. If you do not, I work from the content structure we agree and keep the design clean and conventional.

Is Webflow good for SEO?

Yes — it gives you clean markup, fast hosting on a CDN, and full control over titles, descriptions, canonical tags and structured data. Webflow does not do the SEO for you, but it removes the technical obstacles that make SEO hard on a badly built site.

How much does a Webflow project cost?

It depends on the number of unique page templates, the complexity of the CMS model and how much custom interaction is involved. Send me the design or a description of the pages you need and you will get a fixed written quote.
