Why Are Elementor Widgets Missing From the Panel?

Why This Happens

Elementor's widget panel dynamically builds its list from core widgets, active Pro widgets (license-dependent), and any third-party widgets registered by other active plugins — if any of those sources isn't functioning correctly, its widgets simply won't appear, generally without an obvious error message pointing to the specific cause.

Common Causes

• An inactive or expired Elementor Pro license, hiding or graying out Pro-exclusive widgets even though the Pro plugin itself is still installed.
• Widgets manually disabled under Elementor → Settings → Widgets, a feature meant to declutter the panel by hiding unused widget types.
• A third-party widget plugin failing to load properly, whether from a compatibility conflict, being only partially activated, or a coding error preventing registration.
• Browser or editor caching showing a stale widget panel from before a plugin was activated or a license was renewed.

How to Fix It

1. Confirm the Elementor Pro license is active and connected under Elementor → License.
2. Check Elementor → Settings → Widgets to confirm the missing widget hasn't been manually disabled.
3. Confirm the relevant third-party plugin is active and check its own settings for any additional activation step.
4. Clear all caching and refresh the editor after making changes.
