Can I Copy Just the Styling in Elementor?
How Copy/Paste Style Works
The feature transfers everything under an element's Style tab (and some Advanced tab settings) — colors, fonts, spacing, borders, shadows — while leaving the Content tab (actual text, images, links) completely untouched on the target element. It works best between elements of the same widget type, though some settings will still transfer between different but compatible types.
When This Is Most Useful
- Matching several buttons to an identical style after adjusting just one, without manually repeating every color and spacing setting on each.
- Applying a finalized design from a polished element to a rough draft placeholder elsewhere on the page.
- Working faster than a global widget when the elements shouldn't stay permanently linked (unlike a global widget, pasted style is a one-time copy, not an ongoing sync).
- Copying between pages, since the copied style stays available to paste onto an element on a different page during the same editing session.
Using Copy/Paste Style
- Right-click the element with the desired styling and select Copy Style.
- Right-click the target element and select Paste Style.
- Review the result, since not every setting transfers cleanly between very different widget types.
