MI Speaker
A PSD from Quomodosoft, converted into the front end of a single-product landing page, submitted to ThemeForest and approved — features, a specification table, a video walkthrough and colour-variant checkout, all on one scroll. The Xiaomi branding is the demo’s own placeholder content, not a client engagement.

The ask
A PSD from Quomodosoft, to become a single-product landing page good enough to sell on ThemeForest.
The build
Converted by hand into HTML, CSS and JavaScript — specs, gallery, video and a cart, all on one scroll.
The outcome
Submitted to ThemeForest and approved for sale.
THE PROBLEM
One product, one scroll, and a reviewer first
The design arrived as a Photoshop file, and the destination was ThemeForest — where submissions are reviewed against a published standard and a great many are turned away on code quality, responsive behaviour and browser support rather than on looks. The page itself has a single job a catalogue never has: carry the entire argument for buying and then close, without the visitor navigating away. Neither of those is settled by a flat comp.
THE SOLUTION
Converted in the order a buyer decides
I converted the PSD into HTML, CSS and JavaScript by hand, running the argument in the order it gets made: what the product is, what it does, what is inside it, what it looks like in use, and what it costs — with the cart in reach the whole way down. Everything a buyer of the template would want to change is a block they can swap rather than a layout they have to unpick.
- Anchor navigation across features, specification, how-to-use and price — no page loads
- Feature blocks for battery, weight and connectivity, each with its own visual
- A specification table and a video walkthrough, for the buyer who reads before deciding
- Colour variants priced and purchasable, with a running cart and subtotal
THE STACK
Chosen for who picks it up next
Static HTML on Bootstrap with jQuery for behaviour, carousels for the product imagery and a lightbox for the video — the stack a template buyer expects to open and recognise, rather than one that makes them learn a build step first:
- HTML5
- CSS3
- Bootstrap
- jQuery
- Swiper
- Owl Carousel
- Magnific Popup
- WOW.js
THE RESULT
Approved on ThemeForest
It passed submission and went on sale. As with the agency template before it, the approval is the part that carries weight outside a portfolio: an unaffiliated reviewer checking the build against a standard, with no reason to be generous about it.
THE SERVICE BEHIND IT
Want something built this way?
This project came out of my Frontend Development work. That page covers the process in full — what I deliver, how a project runs, and the questions people usually ask before starting one.
What that service covers
- Pixel-accurate implementation, responsive from 320px upward
- Interfaces built to the data they carry, not to a template
- Accessible, conventional code the next developer can read
