DGsors Advertising

An advertising agency with four separate capabilities and the heaviest proof on the web — 3D and video. The brief was a PSD, built out on a custom WordPress theme rather than a bought one.

The ask

A PSD design for an agency selling branding, content, media production and 3D commercials.

The build

Built to the PSD on a custom WordPress theme and companion plugin, with Elementor Pro for the page layouts.

The outcome

Four capabilities each findable with their own proof, and the showreel media served without stalling the page.

THE PROBLEM

A PSD is a picture of a website

The design arrived as a Photoshop file: one width, everything flattened into position, no note of what happens at 375 pixels, what a hover does, or how a section behaves when the agency adds a fifth capability next year. On top of that, the content this agency is proudest of — 3D renders and video commercials — is the heaviest thing you can put on a web page. The build had to deliver both the design and a site that still loads.

THE SOLUTION

Built on a theme of my own, not a bought one

Rather than bending a marketplace theme toward the PSD, I built it on my own WordPress theme with a companion plugin for the pieces this site needed, and used Elementor Pro for the page layouts so the agency can edit and extend without me. Each capability got its own space with the work that proves it beside the claim, exactly as the design intended — and the heavy media was handled deliberately: deferred, sized properly, and kept off the critical path so the showreel sells the agency instead of stalling the page it sits on.

  • Four capabilities separated so a visitor self-selects rather than reading four pitches
  • 3D and video deferred and appropriately sized, off the critical path
  • Custom theme plus a companion plugin, instead of a bought theme bent out of shape
  • Elementor Pro layouts, so new work and new pages do not need a developer

THE STACK

Chosen for who maintains it

A custom theme and companion plugin under Elementor Pro — the theme gives the site its structure, the builder gives the agency day-to-day control:

  • WordPress
  • Custom theme
  • Custom plugin
  • Elementor Pro
  • WooCommerce
  • Contact Form 7

THE RESULT

The design, and a site that still loads

Each capability is separately findable and carries its own proof, and the most persuasive media on the site — the part that actually wins the pitch — is served without wrecking load performance on the pages that depend on it. That was the trade the PSD could not resolve on its own, and it is the part of this job that was mine to get right.

THE SERVICE BEHIND IT

Want something built this way?

This project came out of my WordPress Development work. That page covers the process in full — what I deliver, how a project runs, and the questions people usually ask before starting one.

What that service covers

  • Custom themes and WooCommerce storefronts
  • Speed, Core Web Vitals and technical SEO as a stage
  • Handover your team can actually run
