Framer development for design-led sites that need to ship fast.

Figma-to-Framer builds with a CMS your team can run and interactions that stay inside a real performance budget — for brands who want the polish of a custom build without the timeline of one.

THE PROBLEM

What I actually get called in to fix

Framer is the fastest way to turn a strong design into a live site, and its interaction model is genuinely ahead of most page builders. What it will not do is decide your content structure or catch a layout that only works at desktop width. A Framer site put together without that groundwork ends up just as fragile as a rushed build on any other platform — it just looks better while it breaks.

It looks perfect on desktop and breaks on mobile

Framer's canvas makes it easy to nail one breakpoint and never check the rest. I build and test every layout at real mobile, tablet and desktop widths, not just the one the design was drawn at.

The CMS was never structured properly

Collections bolted on after the design was already built usually mean a marketing team fighting the layout every time they add a page. The content model gets designed before the visual build starts, not after.

Animation everywhere, performance nowhere

Scroll effects and micro-interactions are Framer's strongest feature and its easiest way to tank Core Web Vitals. I keep motion inside a performance budget and respect reduced-motion preferences.

The visual editor has hit its ceiling

Some logic and interactions are outside what Framer's point-and-click tools can do. A small custom code override usually closes the gap without needing a full custom frontend build.

SCOPE

What I deliver

  • Figma to Framer builds, matched to the design across every breakpoint
  • Framer CMS collections structured around how your team actually publishes
  • Custom code overrides for interactions and logic the visual editor cannot do alone
  • Animation and scroll interactions kept inside a real performance budget
  • Responsive rebuilds of sites that only look right on desktop
  • On-page SEO setup: meta fields, Open Graph, structured data, sitemap and canonical handling
  • Migration onto or off Framer as a project's needs change
  • Team handover so your marketers publish confidently without breaking layouts

PROCESS

How a project runs

  1. Scope and content model

What content types exist, how they relate, and which pages are dynamic, worked out before anything is dragged onto the canvas.

  2. Style system

Typography scale, colour variables and a component structure set up first, so the build does not turn into one-off styling on every page.

  3. Build

Pages and components built to the design, responsive across every breakpoint, with real CMS content flowing through rather than placeholder text that hides layout problems.

  4. Interactions and performance

Motion added deliberately and kept inside a performance budget, with reduced-motion preferences respected and images sized and compressed properly.

  5. SEO, launch and handover

Meta fields, Open Graph, structured data and Search Console setup, then a walkthrough so your team can publish on day one without supervision.

BENEFITS

What you get out of it

A fast site with no server

Framer's hosting, CDN and SSL are handled for you, which removes an entire category of ongoing maintenance and cost.

Publishing without a developer

A properly structured CMS means your marketing team ships new pages and updates copy the same day, not after a ticket.

Design that survives the build

Built to the Figma file precisely, with the interaction detail that made the design worth paying for kept intact.

RELEVANT WORK

I do not have a shipped Framer project to link here yet — most of my published case studies are WordPress and Webflow builds, including a Figma-to-CMS build for Formatry that follows the same process a Framer project would. Browse the full portfolio to see that process in practice, or get in touch and I will share Framer-specific work directly.

TESTIMONIALS

What clients say

Every completed Upwork contract to date, each rated 5.0. The work behind them was WordPress — my Framer references are available on request — but the way a project runs is the same whichever platform it is on.

“Ashekur was a total lifesaver on this project. From the very first message, his communication was prompt, clear, and friendly. He dove straight into the work, quickly grasped my requirements, and delivered a rock-solid solution ahead of schedule—without a single hitch.”
“Recommended! Ashekur did a great work, he is a very good developer and did exactly what i need.”
“He completed the customer theme development work before time. The work delivered is awesome and he delivered more than expected. Really a good and honest freelancer to work with.”

FAQ

Questions I get asked

What people ask before starting a Framer build, answered up front rather than in the first call.

Is Framer better than Webflow?

They overlap but are not the same tool. Framer is faster for design-led marketing sites and has the more modern interaction model; Webflow has the deeper CMS and the more mature ecommerce option. For a straightforward marketing site with a small content model, Framer is often the quicker, cheaper build. For a large content operation or a store, Webflow usually holds up better. See WordPress vs Webflow vs Framer for the fuller comparison, or tell me the brief and I will give you a straight answer.

Can you build from a Figma file, or design it in Framer directly?

Either. If you have a Figma design, I build to it precisely and flag anything that will not hold up responsively before I build it rather than after. Framer is also a capable design tool in its own right, so for smaller sites I am happy to design directly inside it if you do not have a separate Figma file.

Can I edit the content myself after launch?

Yes, and it is one of the main reasons people choose Framer. CMS collections are structured around the content types you actually publish, so your team edits copy and adds pages without touching layout or breaking a breakpoint.

Is Framer good for SEO?

Framer gives you clean markup, fast CDN hosting and full control over titles, descriptions, canonical tags and structured data, which removes most of the technical obstacles that make SEO hard on a badly built site. It will not do keyword strategy or content for you — that is a separate scope.

What if the site outgrows Framer later?

It happens, usually when a project needs deeper ecommerce or a much larger content operation than Framer's CMS is built for. I can migrate a Framer site onto WordPress or Webflow with a full redirect map so the rankings you have already earned are not thrown away in the move.

How much does a Framer project cost?

It depends on the number of unique page templates, how much the CMS model needs to do and how much custom code and interaction is involved. Send me the design or a description of the pages you need and you will get a fixed written quote. See current starting prices for a reference point.
